~FAQ!~
(Frequently Asked Questions)
This is just a small extra section for my FAQ, some having to do with commissions, work tools, and even some personal stuff. :) Also answers to some occasional/frequent statements and comments I receive. I'm sorry if some of my answers seem harsh! It's not my intention to seem scary, and I'm really not! But I've just developed a LOT of pet peeves, and frustrations over my years in the art community, and I've gotten some pretty inappropriate questions/comments, and the same ones over and over, so I really need to have a space to answer these candidly without singling anyone out.
If you have a question that isn't on here, feel free to ask!

If you have a question that isn't on here, feel free to ask!
Q: "What tablet/ art software do you use for your art?"
A: I currently use the iPad pro 12.9 inch 2018 model, with the Apple Pencil 2nd gen., and for software I use Procreate for drawing, and sometimes Photoshop for small edits/text design!
Q: "Can you draw a request/free art for me?"
A: Nope, never. Art is my job. I have to earn wages off of it. I need to earn money that can go towards food, clothing, insurance, gas, and other important necessities I need. I'm a person literally drawing to survive. It's a job, like any other job. You wouldn't ask someone with a "traditional" job to work for free right? So, please don't ask me for free art, as I do find it quite rude and hurtful!
Q: "Can you message me when you open commissions?"
A: I appreciate it so much when people are interested in commissioning me, but my public posts/journals/tweets are a thing, and they exist for a reason. So no, I will not let each and every follower, or person who is potentially interested in a commission know individually, one by one, when I am open. I don't have that sort of time or patience on my hands (literally no one has that sort of time), and I can't just remember every person who MIGHT be interested in one. Again, I make public mass posts on ALL of my socials, announcing when I open up, so it's actually very easy to catch an opening announcement from me! If you would like a slot, its on you to mark your calendars, and keep an eye out for when I open!
Q: "Do you do pre-order commissions?/ Can I pay right now to reserve a slot even though you're closed?"
A: Nope. I don't offer pre-order type commissions of any kind. Everyone deserves an equal opportunity to apply for a slot at the same exact time, so you'll have to wait until the days I open!
Q: "Will you do a collab with me?"
A: Nope, since I really don't have time. Collabs are usually for my very close friends/artists at a similar skill level, AND if I have the time. Don't get offended if I decline, and please don't ask for a reason! I promise you, its not personal.
Q: "Do you do art trades?"
A: No. But like collabs, if I DO decide to do a trade (which is almost never/very rarely), it will usually have to be with an artist who is a close friend and at a similar skill level, AND if I have the time. Don't get offended if I decline, and please don't ask for a reason! It's not personal.
Q: "When will you open for commissions?"
A: I always shoot to open at the beginning of every month. However, setbacks happen. Just keep an eye out for my commission openings, and I always post a few days to a week in advance about when I plan to open!
Q: "Can you teach me to draw?/Critique my work?"
A: Short answer is no, sorry. Long answer: I appreciate that some people look up to me I REALLY do, that truly touches my heart, and I really want to inspire people but... A few reasons why the answer is no: I'm not an art teacher, and I'm incredibly terrible at giving advice. I don't know what I'm doing with my own art half the time either! Haha. I also just don't have the time to do it. I already have to draw ALL day for a living, and I can't spend any time away from practicing with my own art to teach anyone, even if I wanted to. I spend so much time doing commissions, so I can pay my bills. Teaching art would cost me A LOT of time, and if I'm not being paid for it, it's not fair to me, since it would take time away from my fulltime job! The only advice I can give you, and I know it's probably not what you want to hear but: Take lots of time to learn and PRACTICE. A LOT. Practice is always key! Watch tutorials, read and buy art books, try out different techniques, watch other artists, study anatomy, and find what works for you personally. I know people don't want to hear just "time and practice" but that's truly what it takes. There is no secret, or magic trick to learn to draw. It just takes time, patience, and practice! Trial and error. Again, find what works for YOU, and never give up if it's something you really want to do.
Q: "Will you watch/follow me back?"
A: I do not follow back when asked, sorry. I follow people when I choose to do so! :)
Q: "Can I draw art for you?"
A: Of course! It's VERY rare that people draw for me, so I'm always SO excited when someone surprises me with art! <3 I love each and every piece of art that people do for me. I appreciate it all!. :) (Please just don't draw adult work of my characters though, and please do not draw my fursona or my boyfriend's fursona in romantic situations with other characters.)
Q: "You don't draw adult work or genitals? Why is that?"
A: Nope. To be blunt, I just don't really like the idea of drawing adult content of strangers... I have NOTHING against adult work, or people who enjoy it/draw it (as long as you're an adult, and aren't bombarding anyone with it who doesn't want to see it)! It's just not for me, and I'm not comfortable with the idea of getting stuck in that niche/part of the art community, and it is not something I wish to be known for. If you're looking for that kind of work in my gallery/commission options, I'm not the artist for you, and never will be. There are TONS of other wonderful artists who will gladly draw adult art for you!
Q: "How long have you been drawing?"
A: I want to say I've probably been drawing since about 5 years old, and started off by drawing Pokemon, and never stopped drawing after that. I got VERY serious about drawing in my last year of high school, and early years of college, and it eventually became a job for me!
Q: "Will you RP with me?"
A: Nope!
Q: "Can I role play AS your character(s)?"
A: This actually isn't a question I get, seeing as thieves obviously wont ask for permission... But I'm going to "answer" it anyway: Absolutely not. I worked hard over the years to make my own characters. If you want characters to RP as, please make your own, write character descriptions, get adoptable character designs, use and color free line arts/bases, instead of using art of someone else's characters. Don't know how to draw, or can't buy your own art? That's NOT an excuse to steal my, or other people's characters/art. There isn't a single excuse anymore with the amount of free linearts/bases there are. Please. Having my character(s) stolen is not flattering. It actually really hurts to see my characters being treated like garbage in this way. My fursona especially, since she literally represents me. My OCs are not yours to use, so please make your own!
